The Star City VFD was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident at
18:10, along with Mon EMS. Initially the call came in as
unknown injuries or entrapment with a car over an embankment
into a creek. The MVA was reported to be on Van Voorhis Road
just past the BP station. Engine 201 and Unit 202 both
responded. Engine 201 was the first to arrive on scene at 18:15

vehicle with the vehicle partially underwater. While

patient's arm and extricate the patient. The patient was
extricated through the front windshield at approx. 18:25.
Mon EMS transported the patient to Ruby
Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Units cleared scene
at 19:43. There has been no update on the patients condition.
