Eleven members of the Star City Volunteer Fire Department attend
the 7th Annual
Upper Ohio Valley Fire-Rescue School.
The school is held at Brooke High School in Wellsburg, WV. Some
of the classes held this year were Engine Company Operations,
Basic Auto Extrication, Hazmat Awareness, Rapid Intervention
Team, and many others. For this years school there were
approximately 500 firefighters and EMS personal that were
registered for classes.
