Community has become a new annual event held by the Star City
Volunteer Fire Department. It is a day for fun and
entertainment. It features an open house at the Star City
Volunteer Fire Department with all day firefighter competitions.
In the middle of the day there is a live rescue demonstration to
show the community a little of what we do. Community Day
2005 was held on Saturday May 7, 2005.
